Worship
The chief end of humanity is to glorify God and enjoy God forever - Westminster Catechism, mid-seventeenth century, language adapted.
Knox gathers for worship weekly on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. On most Sundays, children stay through the children's sermon (roughly 20 minutes into the service), and then head to "Godly Play" Sunday School. Nursery care for the entire worship service is available for those three years old and younger.
Dress: People tend to dress on the casual side at Knox, though you will see some people dressed "business casual," others in shorts or jeans, still others in a dress or suit and tie. It's hard to go wrong at Knox in terms of what you wear.
Parking: You can enter our main parking lot from either Del Mar (just East of Hill avenue) or Cordova. There is also street parking available along Cordova and its side streets.
The Lord's Table: We celebrate communion at Knox the first Sunday of each month.
Music: Knox endeavors to include and "blend" traditional and contemporary musical forms. Most Sundays you'll hear a traditional pipe organ on some hymns, and other songs accompanied by a full band with guitars, mandolin, piano and light percussion. Some Sundays you'll hear a violin solo, other Sundays a duet or an a cappella anthem, and other Sundays a Bluegrass set.
