Home Fellowship Groups

There are a growing number of home groups that are primarily concerned with fostering deeper community within the Knox family. Some groups are intergenerational, while others are made up of people at roughly the same stage in life—both approaches are welcomed and encouraged.

Typically our home groups:

• Consist of 8-12 members
• Meet in homes either weekly or bi-weekly
• Focus on prayer and fellowship
• Sometimes include service projects, potluck meals, Bible studies, or guided discussions

Book Circles

At Knox we have found that many of us enjoy reading good books and engaging in lively discussion. So, we figured, why not host some book groups?!

The Lit Chicks is our women’s book circle. Recent novels we’ve read and discussed include The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Schaffer and Annie Barrows, Replay by Ken Grimwood, The Space Between Us by Thrity Umrigar, and Have a Little Faith by Mitch Albom.

The Brothers K is our men’s book circle. Recent books we’ve read and discussed include Lincoln’s Greatest Speech by Ronald White, Gilead by Marilynne Robinson, Silence by Shusaku Endo, and Tattoos on the Heart by Greg Boyle.

Both book circles meet every other month in the evening.

Women's Bible Study

Every other Wednesday evening an intergenerational group of Knox women gather to study the Bible and seek together what God’s Spirit is saying to us through the Word. This group is always open to anyone who wants to join us!
